What is so earth shattering about the President of the United States saying, concerning relations with our closest ally in the Middle East, that the role of the President in the context of our relations with Israel, is to support the decisions made by that ally?
Might we not have national interests of our own?

Wow! I guess only Israel spies on the U.S. Do you think it is possible that the U.S. spies on Israel? Do you think it is possible that everyone has been spying on everyone for the past, let's say, 2000 years?
