Three Other Reasons to Think Bush Won Only Because of Cheating

1) His approval ratings right before and right after the election were below 50%-- making vote percentage of 51% seem like a strange little bump.

2) The Clint Curtis story -- the man who swore on an affadvit that Republican congressman Tom Feeny asked him to write a vote manipulation program.

3) There clearly was massive illegal suppression of African-American votes in Ohio, and likely in other states such as Florida as well.

Do these things along with these things prove anything?

Yes, they prove there was a lot of funny business going on around the election. But no, they don't "prove" that the Bush campaign cheated.

However, to say Bush won, you have to say that there was a strange group of ghost voters of unclear demographics that were not visible either before, during (remember the exit polls) or after the election. However, these people voted overwhelmingly for Bush-- giving him his victory.

I suppose you could call these strange ghost voters "Bush's base".

Or perhaps the votes themselves were ghosts.
