46 Myths About Conspiracy Theories
A truly excellent article.
Relatedly, this piece from professional journalist (and naturally anti-conspiracist) Jonathan Kay is rather interesting. In fact, what Kay writes is much more reasonable than what the usual mainstream anti-conspiracy diatribe. What is striking is how Kay admits that conspiracists have an upper hand because they know the material better than he does-- yet Kay can simply not allow that 9/11 was a "black op" because he thinks it would be too hard to cover-up. His overall piece is ultimately self-defeating, which you would think would be obvious to even Kay... but anti-conspiracy dogma is hard to shake, I guess.
