Pizzagate Given Mainstream Coverage

"CBS46’s Ben Swann became the first mainstream media anchor to investigate the alleged child trafficking sex ring referred to as “PizzaGate” on Thursday. He broke down all of the key details surrounding the story during a “Reality Check” segment."

I would say Swann is "fair" in pointing out the weirdness of the messages in the emails, but seems more open to the idea that there was a pedophile ring going on than is warranted, given no real hard evidence of any kind towards that.

NYTimes actually has a really good-- fair IMO-- analysis of much of the evidence regarding "pizzagate", which throws cold water on most of the claims.

I would say a good majority of the pizzagate claims are completely fabricated bullshit, but there is still some unexplained weirdness.

What would be nice is if someone actually tried to talk to John Podesta about his emails, to see if he can explain what they mean.

Trump Is Seriously Mentally Disturbed

This is seriously off the wall bonkers, from his ABC interview on Wednesday:
The way President Trump tells it, the meandering, falsehood-filled, self-involved speech that he gave at the Central Intelligence Agency headquarters was one of the greatest addresses ever given.
“That speech was a home run,” Trump told ABC News just a few minutes into his first major television interview since moving into the White House. “See what Fox said. They said it was one of the great speeches. They showed the people applauding and screaming. … I got a standing ovation. In fact, they said it was the biggest standing ovation since Peyton Manning had won the Super Bowl, and they said it was equal. I got a standing ovation. It lasted for a long period of time.”
The most powerful man in the world continued: “You probably ran it live. I know when I do good speeches. I know when I do bad speeches. That speech was a total home run. They loved it. … People loved it. They loved it. They gave me a standing ovation for a long period of time. They never even sat down, most of them, during the speech. There was love in the room. You and other networks covered it very inaccurately. … That speech was a good speech. And you and a couple of other networks tried to downplay that speech. And it was very, very unfortunate that you did.”
Trump brushed off the suggestion that it was disrespectful to deliver Saturday's speech — which included musings about magazine covers and crowd sizes — in front of a hallowed memorial to CIA agents killed in the line of duty. He insisted that the crowd was filled with “the people of the CIA,” not his supporters, and could have been several times larger than it was. Had a poll been taken of the 350-person audience to gauge the speech's greatness, Trump said the result would have been “350 to nothing” in his favor.

He's insane, it's no joke. He could fucking destroy the planet, since he controls nukes.

33 of the Day

"Gen. Michael T. Flynn served in the military for 33 years before becoming a singular and divisive figure in the intelligence community during the Obama administration" (NYT)

Flynn seems to be as deranged as Trump; he is a conspiracy theorist who is terrified of Muslims. Not the kind of person you want in the WH as Nat. Sec. Advisor.

The piece goes on to say how so many key national security positions have yet to be filled in the Trump WH... which may be setting the stage for the next "unexpected" terrorist attack.

Also in the same piece, note the 3 juxtaposed near to nuclear codes, and then the ominous 4, which may signify "34", or a quarantine escape attempt:
Less than three days before President Obama turns the keys to the White House, and the nuclear codes, over to President-elect Donald J. Trump, Mr. Trump’s transition staff has barely engaged with the National Security Council below the most senior levels. His designated national security adviser, Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, has met four times with his Obama counterpart, Susan E. Rice, most recently on Tuesday afternoon.

You know the "3" is code, because why else would they say "less than three days", and not just the exact number of days when the piece was written?

Also, it's ominous/weird/disturbing, that 9/11 investigator Thierry Meyssan reports that Flynn would like to also be director for all National Intelligence agencies, thus also taking on the role of ODNI.

Trump Goes to CIA, Sucks Up to Them and Complains About the Dishonest Media

You just can't make this stuff up. (watch the video and judge for yourself)

He also is just ridiculously insecure about the size of his, er, crowds.

All this is after he bashed their work for weeks, because they said Russia interfered with our election.

CNN:
Trump spent much of his speech -- which he gave in front of a memorial wall that honors the 117 CIA officers who have fallen in the line of duty -- focusing on the size of the crowd size at his inauguration, his appearance on magazine covers and saying he "has a running war with the media."
"Former CIA Director Brennan is deeply saddened and angered at Donald Trump's despicable display of self-aggrandizement in front of CIA's Memorial Wall of Agency heroes," Nick Shapiro said in a statement. "Brennan says that Trump should be ashamed of himself."
One source who attended Trump's appearance said many people there were troubled by the political aspect of the remarks, in which the president speculated about how many people in the room may have voted for him. "We are not political in that way," the source said. "Talking about whether we voted for Trump is offensive and foreign to us by the president ... Many people felt used and awkward throughout. Of course there was applause, but it was uncomfortable."

More importantly, 24 hrs into his presidency, Trump is starting a war on the media:

If you are puzzled by the bizarre "press conference" put on by the White House press secretary this evening (angrily claiming that Trump's inauguration had the largest audience in history, accusing them of faking photos and lying about attendance), let me help explain it. This spectacle served three purposes:

1. Establishing a norm with the press: they will be told things that are obviously wrong and they will have no opportunity to ask questions. That way, they will be grateful if they get anything more at any press conference. This is the PR equivalent of "negging," the odious pick-up practice of a particular kind of horrible person (e.g., Donald Trump).

2. Increasing the separation between Trump's base (1/3 of the population) from everybody else (the remaining 2/3). By being told something that is obviously wrong—that there is no evidence for and all evidence against, that anybody with eyes can see is wrong—they are forced to pick whether they are going to believe Trump or their lying eyes. The gamble here—likely to pay off—is that they will believe Trump. This means that they will regard media outlets that report the truth as "fake news" (because otherwise they'd be forced to confront their cognitive dissonance.)

3. Creating a sense of uncertainty about whether facts are knowable, among a certain chunk of the population (which is a taking a page from the Kremlin, for whom this is their preferred disinformation tactic). A third of the population will say "clearly the White House is lying," a third will say "if Trump says it, it must be true," and the remaining third will say "gosh, I guess this is unknowable." The idea isn't to convince these people of untrue things, it's to fatigue them, so that they will stay out of the political process entirely, regarding the truth as just too difficult to determine.

This is laying important groundwork for the months ahead. If Trump's White House is willing to lie about something as obviously, unquestionably fake as this, just imagine what else they'll lie about. In particular, things that the public cannot possibly verify the truth of. It's gonna get real bad.

This is pretty disgusting-- "alternative facts"

33 of the Day

Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump’s palace, is impressive by the standards of Palm Beach—less so when judged against the abodes of the world’s autocrats. It doesn’t, for instance, quite compare with Mezhyhirya, the gilded estate of deposed Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovych. Trump may have 33 bathrooms and three bomb shelters...
A pretty wild placing of the 3's there.

A lot of people are worried about Trump in control of nukes.

Evil at the FBI

Their evil, racist past-- how much has changed?
... FBI agents were directed to spy on King’s personal life and professional life and disrupt both. Ultimately, the FBI, over the course of more than a decade, collected hundreds of pages of surveillance on King, hours of secret recordings, and a trove of his public work—writings, and speeches alike. It even attempted to tarnish his reputation months after he was assassinated.
Under Hoover’s direction, in the months after the 1963 March on Washington and King’s most famous speech, FBI Assistant Director William Sullivan, head of the Intelligence Division, reported to Hoover that effective exploitation of the information gathered on King, “if handled properly, [could] take him off his pedestal… the Negroes will be left without a national leader of sufficiently compelling personality to steer them in the proper direction.”
King was not alone. Every major advocate for black people in the country had been targeted by the Bureau. In fact, there was little differentiation between ideological lines and black leadership. In a meeting with Lyndon B. Johnson, Hoover said in reference to black nationalist Malcolm X and integrationist King, “we wouldn’t have any problem if we could get those two guys fighting, if we could get them to kill one another off…”
The campaign against King is best understood as a continuum of government policies that pre-date King by decades. The FBI had been, like other American institutions, inextricably tied to the ideology of white supremacy. In the 1930s, everything from the military to restaurants officially discriminated nationwide. Challenges to that archaic and endemic belief were almost always considered subversive. The predecessor to the FBI, the Bureau of Investigation (BOI), targeted the Universal Negro Improvement Association and its leader Marcus Garvey. It also spied on Garvey’s ideological antagonist, W.E.B. Du Bois, as well as the NAACP.
Hoover’s behavior is often viewed as paranoid and even exceptional, but he operated with the full sanction of the wider state. During the civil rights movement, three U.S. presidents: John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, and Richard Nixon all supported Hoover’s efforts which were codified to “disrupt, misdirect, discredit, and neutralize” targeted organizations. This would be achieved through various and sundry tools, including illegal activities. COINTELPRO used informants, agent provocateurs, infiltrators, legal and illegal wiretaps, break-ins, false correspondence, and “bad-jacketing,” which was the act of making a legitimate member of a group appear to be a collaborator with the state.
Psychological warfare included calling the parents of young civil rights activists to inform them that their children had been murdered or kidnapped. FBI agents worked with journalists to plant stories in order to discredit leadership and organizations. Across the country, the Bureau collaborated with local police to repress targeted groups. Sharing resources and intelligence, activists were arrested, fired from jobs, expelled from schools and lost business contracts.
COINTELPRO even used switchboard operators and postal workers to spy on citizens, with or without court order. Though there was a special interest in civil rights groups, the FBI used its extensive resources to spy on and antagonize a wide range of communities. The Bureau established categories for various targets, which included everything from the anti-war and women’s liberation movements, to socialists, black nationalists, student groups, journalists, intellectuals, non-violent integrations and revolutionary nationalists. They were separated into the “Agitator Index,” the “Rabble Rouser Index,” and the “Security Index.”

Trump offers odd denial of pee-pee-gate: ‘I was never even in that room for that period of time’

Haha, I wouldn't be surprised if the pee story was the most true thing in the dossier.

Donald Trump went into further detail about the unverified report that he hired prostitutes in Russia to urinate on a bed President Barack Obama once slept in. “It’s fake news. It’s all fake news,” an animated Trump told Fox News’s Ainsley Earhardt in an interview. (snip)

Trump told Earhardt that he accepts CIA Director John Brennan’s denial that he had anything to do with the leak of the unverified report of Trump’s relationships in Russia.
“It’s made up. Never existed. Never happened,” Trump continued, speaking specifically about the unverified report regarding the prostitutes.
“And the reason I say that so strongly because nothing is ever going to show up. There’s never going to be a tape that shows up. There’s never going to be anything that shows up. Now, I would be very embarrassed if a tape actually showed up, saying something like that. It would be double embarrassed because I’m saying there is no tape. There is no event. I was never even in that room for that period of time.”
Trump reiterated that “they” made up the unverified report. “It started with the Republican Party when they tried to beat me in the nomination and it went on. The Democrats took over the work, supposedly,” Trump continued. “And by the intelligence giving it credence by just even talking about it — it was very inappropriate. So I don’t know who the leaker was. I have no idea, but it’s fake news.”

Another hint that the dossier is real:

"Bush Counting Down Days Until He Is No Longer Worst President in History"

DALLAS (The Borowitz Report)—Former President George W. Bush is eagerly counting down the days until he is no longer the worst President in U.S. history, Bush confirmed on Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters at his home, Bush said that he “could hardly wait” until Friday, when he will be officially bounced from the worst-President slot.

“I have to admit, I never thought I’d see this day in my lifetime,” the former President said. “When you leave office with the nation in smoldering ruins, you sort of come to accept that you’re gonna be worst for a long, long time.”

“I guess you could say I set the bar kind of high, worst-wise,” he chuckled.

As the returns came in on Election Night, however, the former President suddenly realized that his days as the worst President in U.S. history might be coming to an abrupt end.

“Holy cow,” Bush remembered saying to himself. “Just holy cow.”

While Bush recognizes that many Americans are dreading Friday’s Inauguration, he said he hoped that they could “sort of understand” why he might see things differently.

“To be honest, Friday can’t come fast enough for me,” he said. “I’m like a kid waiting for Christmas.”

A reminder I wrote this blog for a while:

THE WORST PRESIDENT EVER!!!!

Looks Like Trump Used His Casinos to Launder Money for the Russian Mob

How on earth was Trump losing money on his casinos while competitors were making bank?
You can say "haha what a dummy-losing money on casinos" but as I noted, Trump's losses appear deliberate, planned.

But what if there's more to Trump's casino losses, which ran billions of dollars.
Was it to disguise Russian money laundering? Article below from 1995 notes how Russian mafia was laundering money in and out of the US using dummy corps.
A coincidence that Trump's projects–after banks ditched him–were financed by Russian mafia linked Bayrock? Soviet characters–Sater, Arif, Sapir, Mashkevich-suddenly pouring hundreds of millions into a bankrupt Trump?
Were these Russian links established during Trump's casino run-he helps them with laundering-they bail him out?
Recall the lawsuit against Bayrock naming Trump and kids alleges $250 million were laundered, untaxed, to Russia.

We know Trump was getting tax benefits for losing people's investments, but now we have this laundering angle.

Here is the smoking gun: US Treasury fined Trump's casinos $10 million for "significant, long standing anti-money laundering violations".
$10M money laundering fine levied on Trump was LARGEST PENALTY FinCen-Financial Crimes Enforcement Network-ever levied against a casino.
If Congress pursues Trump's Russia ties/grooming, his casino money laundering investigation holds key answers.
Fresh look into the casino would reveal how far back his Russian ties go, activities money laundering supported.
Danny Leung, VP Foreign Marketing at Trump's casino was ID'd by US Senate as member of organized crime/money laundering outfit 14K Triad
...
After fall of USSR, hundreds of KGB officers entered Russian mafia–which made Brighton Beach, Brooklyn–where Sater lived–its US HQ.

Ft. Lauderdale Airport Shooting Conveniently Distracts from the Report on Russian Hacking

I saw it myself-- our local paper had the shooting on the front page, while the report on Russian hacking was relegated to an inside section.

I watched CBS national news last night (by accident), and the airport shooting occupied the critical first 10 minutes of the show, pretty stupid coverage overall, so tedious. So formulaic. Don't people get tired of this shit? Then 5 minutes on the big storm to hit the east coast. I gave up after that.

21st Century Wire notes the timing of the shooting, even as they question the hacking report itself.

Whatever. I tend to believe the hacking was done by Russians to influence our presidential election, for a variety of reasons. I understand the reticence to believe the US intelligence agencies, but the fact is, they are not wrong about everything, and there is really a confluence of evidence that points to this being a true story.

And there are some funny things about the shooting, it seems to be a fairly typical case of "FBI manufactured terror."

And the FBI did seem to help throw the election to Trump, with their bogus "October surprise" revelation about Hillary's emails.

Which brings up another point-- I have been wondering if the FBI is actually more corrupt and complicit in terrorism than the CIA. Not that the CIA isn't complicit-- but just that for 9/11, the FBI was in very deep with the hijackers and really ran the cover-up-- much more than the CIA was.

Of course, for 9/11, multiple agencies must have been involved at some level. But the FBI was key.

So in any case, I think this airport shooting actually strengthens the case for Russian hacking, if the PTB felt they needed a distraction away from the story.

1999 Moscow Bombings

I love how the Western countries pretty much accept that the 1999 Moscow bombings that started their "war on terror" were a false flag operation by the Russian intel agency FSB. These bombings had many similarities to 9/11 and even more similarities to the 1993 WTC bombings. It's sort of like they used the same playbook in both countries.

But of course it's just crazy to think the US intel services had anything to do with 9/11.
