The Mis-Aligned CBS Video
Following up on the CBS video where the plane goes in too low for the explosion, here again is a diagram showing the plane path in the video and where the explosion occurs:
Here are Flight Simulator simulations of a similar view, with the plane on a flat course for the 80th floor:
The circle shows where the explosion should be:
You can see the plane comes IN at about the right spot in the video, but in order to hit the right spot, the plane must ascend. Yet in the video, the plane goes downward.
Bad CGI work is what I conclude.

I did some of my own work using a desktop flight simulator (STAR WARS: X-Wing Alliance), comparing my own results with the "official" version of events and here is what I came up with.
If hitting a building sticking 1100 feet straight up out of flat terrain is impossible, then what of flying an illegally modified Corellian YT-1300 freighter at just below the speed of sound down over 80 kilometres of narrow tunnels, blowing up a hypermatter reactor core bigger than most capital starships and then outrunning the blast wave through those same narrow passages?
The "official" version tells us that this feet was accomplished by General Lando Calrissian and Commander Wedge Antilles at the Battle of Endor.
Well, my first attempt was actually quite succesful. I had the simulation on it's lowest difficulty and some would say that this is most realistic as most Imperial weapon systems and ships were manned at the time by clone troopers who were copies of copies or were well beyond their recycle dates.
Despite the failure of this experiment, a number of anomolies in the "official" (New Republic "official", Imperial sources dispute a number of details found in the Republic story) version of the Battle of Endor still exist.
Survivng Storm/Clone Troopers report delivering a handcuffed rebel alliance officer to the emperors throne room shortly before the rebel "terrorists" attacked.
"General" Calrissian is reported to have attempted to sell the future President of the New Republic, Leia Organa, to Lord Vader. Yet within a space of weeks or months he is brought deep into the rebel high command and awarded a flag rank position and command of all rebel tactical air assets?!?!
Why weren't the entry points for the Imperial battlestations internal tunnel system covered by anti-fighter weapons systems?
The Imperial Super Star Destroyer Executor was over 10,000 meters long and without sheilds could take one or more tactical nuclear strikes simply from her staggering mass. Yet after a single hit from a 10 metre A-Wing interceptor, she "collapsed" into the surface of the Death Star. No capital vessel in Imperial surface has ever simply fallen out of the sky after a single hit prior to Endor.
Why was Lord Vader absent when the Death Star went up? His shuttle was seen leaving the facility and his cybernetic life support suits emergency transponder was never detected among the wreckage.
How was a primitive pre-starflight tribal society able to over power Imperial Stormtroopers with little more than slingshots, rocks and tree-trunks?
There are clearly a lot of questions that result from the "official" version of events that must be dealt with.
well. that certainly puts all of your previous comments into proper perspective for the rest of us. and your nom de guerre as well.
SOT, become irrelevant your statements have.
maybe the 10 metre A-Wing interceptor has a composite plastic nosecone just like a boeing 767 does. that would certainly account for the destruction of your Imperial Super Star Destroyer Executor wouldn't it?
what would be better is to actually have the full video to look at.
the full video is linked at the top of the post, or can be seen here:

I meant in your simulation. The plane flying downward and then continuing on that path...
Would be an interesting side by side comparison.
Can you see in 3D? Obviously the plane is coming in "too low". It is behind the tower. It didn't come in to the tower left to right, it came in from behind. You see the big black hole in the north tower, that's American 11. United 175 came in on the opposite side. North tower got hit from the north, south tower got hit from the south. It's not that complicated. Then again you might just can't understand 3D
