If Done Right, Saddam Hussein's Trial and Execution Could Have Helped Heal Iraq

Instead, Saddam's execution appears to have been a ruthless, barbaric and lawless power-play.

It was bad enough that even the Bush administration is distancing themselves from it.

It's not too surprising, really, but it certainly is emblematic of the "democracy" that the US has brought to Iraq.

Who cares about healing Iraq? I say shoot them with a death-ray and spread a lot more depleted uranium around, that will teach them a lesson that they won't soon forget:
Whitey Has The Stick.

hey now saddam's fanatical extremist followers have a good reason for continuing their rampage thru iraq perhaps requiring a lot more u.s. troops on the ground and maybe even attacking us here at home again just like on 9/11.
hey it seems a little drafty in here to me.
better re-up that terrorist attack coverage on your ins. policies larry!

Maybe some smart DOD planner will redeploy Pinchy, Swordy, and Conspiracy Splatter over to Iraq where they might be more effective!
