The Bill Evans Trio - Re: Person I Knew
Great stuff. (Actually, I am related to Bill Evans-- he was my dad's cousin. I met Bill once, about 1972 or so at a Jazz club in Boston.)
This one-- "Autumn Leaves", shows off his chops a little more:
Dedicated to fighting authoritarianism, bigotry, greed, corruption, climate change denial, white supremacy, racism, stupidity and general evil, as well as the exploration of interesting ideas and conspiracy theories including 9/11, UFOs, ET's, the paranormal and the general unknown.

Nice work as always by Mr. Evans.
Erroll Garner's version of "Autumn Leaves" (on his famous "Concert by The Sea" live album) is even better, in my opinion, if for no other reason than that it has the added advantage of Garner's famous "grunts" - which might arguably be called scat singing.
