Econogeddon
If you think the economy is bad now, it is only going to get worse-- leading to severe economic inequality and quite possibly to major social unrest and revolution.
While much of the problem clearly can be traced to the Bush administration, the Obama administration has made things much worse by being disgustingly deferential to Wall Street.
One glimmer of positive news: legislation to audit the Fed, sponsored by Ron Paul, seems to have passed the House. More on that remarkable development here. The main worry about this is that it is too little too late.
I try to be optimistic about these things, but clearly the PTB have a stranglehold on us and things have to change soon. A violent revolution would certainly do it, but a real change in our elected government would be preferable.
